This series is inspired by traditional Islamic art and showcases Lubna’s mastery of the art of illumination, also known as 'the art of the book'. The pieces have traditional calligraphy illuminated with Islamic motifs and border styles. Lubna uses classical techniques while employing contemporary designs and jewel-like colors.
